FTLD
The product is called FTLD (Flexible Thermocouple Line Detector) and it is a cable which is placed where you want to detect a overheating or fire. For example on a cable ladder in a tunnel.
It is very easy to install, and can be mounted on the same cable ladder as the rest of the cables in the tunnel.
The unique feature of FTLD is that it gives you the highest surrounding temperature even if it is present only on a short part of the total cable length.
