Overheat Detection and Protection For Floating Roof Storage Tanks         FTLD is ideally suited for protection of floating roof storage tanks from combustion due to lightning or other overheat conditions. The seal area of the tank is completely and constantly monitored by Xco's sensors. The information provided by an FTLD system results in the earliest possible warning should a dangerous condition develop. You will now be able to know the actual ambient temperature, as well as changes above normal ambient. Seeing a situation develop before disaster occurs allows operators valuable time to activate manual or automatic extinguishing devices. Our systems can be designed for new installations or fitted into existing tanks.
